Cigarette butts may be small, but their environmental impact is huge. With over 100 million butts ending up on Luxembourg’s streets every year, the national awareness campaign MERCI! is taking action.

On the initiative of the Administration de l’Environnement; Administration de la Gestion de l’Eau and Valorlux a.s.b.l., we created a creative concept and a marketing strategy including a poster campaign, an Internet site, digital and social media campaigns, a radio spot and street marketing actions at some public places, including the distribution of pocket ashtrays.
